On weekdays the DTK Wines tasting room opens at eight. Six farmers founded Du Toitskloof as a cooperative in 1962, and the first grapes came in in February 1963. Today 13 members farm 22 properties with 985 hectares between them, Fairtrade certified. The wines go out under the Du Toitskloof, Land's End, Quest and Pierre DuMont labels.

Four wines with bread and olive oil cost R80 (as of September 2026). The Ou Meul Bakery bakes on site, there are art exhibitions and a playground, and dogs are welcome. If you want to move, there are routes for mountain biking and trail running. For six or more, book a table. The estate is on the R101 right by the N1, about 93 kilometres from Cape Town to Rawsonville.
