Between the glass and the view there is art. Over 400 works from Laurence Graff's collection are spread across the estate, which the diamond dealer bought in 2003. John and Erica Platter planted it in the 1980s. The name means roughly “from the eyrie”, and it suits the site high on Helshoogte Pass.

For a meal you have three restaurants: the Delaire Graff Restaurant, the Japanese Hōseki and the Italian Lorenzo's. There are also lodges, a spa and a Graff boutique, according to the estate the only one in Africa. The Wine Lounge is new, designed by David Collins Studio. The estate holds two Michelin Keys and was named Winery of the Year by Winemag in 2025.
